The Wave is best described as a longer Inertia, with a stable-understable flight profile and a responsiveness that makes it useful across the power spectrum. For the most powerful throws, long gliding turnovers and hyzerflip gut shots are possible with the Wave. For average powered throws the Wave will simply extend a variety of lines, from anhyzers to hyzerflips to headwind-assisted turnovers.

Flight Ratings: Speed 11, Glide 5, Turn -2, Fade 2

About the plastic: Fission is the same as Neutron with added Microbubble technology to make them lightweight. Neutron is an Opaque blend of premium polymers that offer extremely good durability and hand feel. Largest selection of bright colors. These have a decent amount of flex to them, but are on the stiffer side of something like an Innova Star plastic. Typically this is a plastic that is “true to flight numbers”, but it still depends on run to run.

Wayyy more understable than I thought it would be

It is a nice disc but when I throw it it turns straight into the ground. Throws like a -4 turn.

Workable MVP Driver

So many MVP fairway and distance drivers tend to be overstable unless you have 350+ feet of power. I have a proton Insanity that is beefier than a cow before the slaughter. The fission wave is different, though. I can throw my 160ish gram Wave on a slight hyzer, it will flip to flat, turn to the right, and push forward while fading to the left on a RHBH throw. If I power down a bit, it will go straight with no turn and have a stronger finish to the left.

But this thing gets distance. On my local course there's a downhill 350 foot hole that I normally will get around 300-325 feet of distance on a drive. On my best drives, I'll get right around 350. When I threw my Wave on this hole, it went about 15-20 feet beyond the basket, or around 370 feet.

Definitely flippy out of the box. Great for hyzerflips!

Fission Wave

Probably the first 11 speed driver that I got to work for me. Feels great in the hand! Just don't recall throwing the lighter weight ones when it's windy!

One of the best

This disc really helped me bring my backhand game into a good spot, I find this to be one of the best drivers for someone really trying to improve their backhand game. I've bought 3 of them at this point, one of them is very beat in and has become my go to roller disc.
