The Watt has been much anticipated, considering it comes with the same characteristics as the MVP Glitch, and this now in max weight plastic! Coming in with flight numbers of 2 | 5 | -0.5 | 0.5, the Neutron Watt exceeds expectations of just how much glide a full weight putter can have. Much like its cousins the Ohm and the Pilot, the Watt is a deeper profile putter that is exceptionally workable, producing laser straight lines, beautiful turnovers, and reliable grip for driving. When you’re looking for a neutral to stable putter, find your new favorite with the Neutron Watt!

Flight Ratings: Speed: 2, Glide: 5, Turn: -0.5, Fade: 0.5

About the plastic: Neutron is an Opaque blend of premium polymers that offer extremely good durability and hand feel. Largest selection of bright colors. These have a decent amount of flex to them, but are on the stiffer side of something like an Innova Star plastic. Typically this is a plastic that is “true to flight numbers”, but it still depends on run to run.

This disc right here should be a staple for everyone’s bag. I’m excited to see the Eclipse version from OTB.

Darn Close To A Max Weight Glitch

I know it's a bit cliché at this point, but after throwing the Watt for many months, I think it's mostly fair to describe the Watt as a "Max Weight Glitch". For me specifically, I'd call it "What I Wanted The Glitch To Be".

Before I got my hands on a Watt, I tried really, really hard to figure out the Glitch. I'm sure it was mostly due to my skills (or lack thereof), but I was never able to figure out a consistent grip, which kept me from having a consistent release.

The Watt, on the other hand, is just different enough in the hand that I don't have any of the issues I had with the Glitch. It's thicker overall, especially the sides, and the normal weight makes it much easier for me to maintain my normal follow-through without any issue.

Flight-wise, it's an absolute laser beam, but the most gentle laser beam you've ever thrown. First putter I've had that I regularly throw off the tee. I know everybody says it, but it really does hold whatever line you put it on. It doesn't require a ton of power, but the 5 glide for a 2-speed really carries it far.

Potentially controversial take, but I really think the Watt was the best new disc to be released last year. I think everyone should give it a try.
