The Prototype Balance Is In The 2024 Gyropalooza Box!
We've just received some great news from MVP! It turns out they will be featuring the Prototype Balance in the 2024 Gyropalooza mystery boxes! If you want one get it below:

It features a special edition stamp designed for the occasion! We're not certain but it seems likely that this may be the only chance we'll ever have at getting our hands on the Prototype Balance! If this is the case the boxes will go like hot cakes, so if you want one get one while they're available!
The Balance is the latest disc in the Simon Lizotte line-up of discs, the Simon Line. This disc was PDGA approved on October 28, 2024, and the release date is not yet confirmed.
The Simon Lizotte Balance is said to be created to fill the slot in the bag between the Axiom Hex and Axiom Pyro. Expect this to be less overstable than the Pyro with a little more glide, but more integrity for anyone who found the Hex too straight.
Why Is The Balance A Prototype?
So just why has the Axiom Balance, the latest addition to the ever growing Simon Line been released as a prototype? MVP made it clear in their latest statement. It seems that while they achieved the exact disc feel they were looking for, the stability did not quite match what was expected.
MVP had hoped to produce a disc with a stability in between that of the Hex and the Pyro. Instead the Balance came out with a flight quite similar to the Pyro, being more overstable than what was desired.
MVP will be retooling the Balance, to bring it closer to their flight expectations, but luckily for us they have decided to release this initial run as a prototype disc!
These Protoype balances are one of a kind, and are in available in limited quantities, never to be made again! Secure your piece of Gyro and Simon Lizotte history before it's too late.
