Axiom Mayhem Neutral Distance Driver
The Axiom Mayhem is a wide-rimmed distance driver that can take your max distance to the next level! It has a reliable turn and fade, producing some crazy far S-shaped lines that will turn you into a champion off the tee!
The Mayhem is the disc you bag for those moments when you're only looking for distance...
It's a 700ft par 4, with a wide-open fairway. You can feel a slight breeze on your back.
Great, this tailwind should give me a good 20 feet of extra distance on my drive. This is one of those holes where you can land the disc just about anywhere and you'll have a reasonable second shot.
So you pull the Axiom Mayhem out of the bag, grip it, and rip it on a baby hyzer. Let's just put it simply... It went far!
If you're able to throw 350ft+ consistently then the Mayhem is a great disc to have in your bag for max distance drives. You can also use it for sidearms!
Here's what Axiom has to say about the Mayhem:
Mayhem has a responsive straight-stable profile and plenty of speed, making it a perfect workhorse driver for many advanced and expert throwers. Like the MVP 23mm class, the Mayhem has a pronounced dome to promote distance-covering glide. Mayhem is best compared to a beat MVP Octane.
This video from TK Disc Golf should give you a good idea of how the Mayhem flies on backhand and forehand shots.
Flight Numbers
Speed: 13 | Glide: 5 | Turn: -1.5 | Fade: 2
These numbers are accurate, although if you don't have the arm speed for this disc it will fly with a little more overstability. If you're used to throwing Destroyers and suchlike you might find it a tad flippier.

Here's an Axiom Mayhem flight chart to give you a basic idea of how it's going to fly!
Plastics
Neutron: Grippy and durable, Neutron Mayhems are accurate to flight numbers. You can read our Neutron plastic review for more information.
Proton: Highly durable and translucent. A Proton Mayhem may be a little more stable than Neutron. You can read our Proton Plastic Review to learn more.
Plasma: Generally the most overstable Axiom Mayhem you'll find. This plastic is also durable, and has a beautiful metallic sheen to it! Read a full Axiom Plasma Review here.

Skill recommendations
Beginner: While this distance driver is relatively easy to throw, we do feel that it might be too fast for lower arm speeds. While it shows as neutral, when thrown with less power it will fly with more stability.
Intermediate: The Axiom Mayhem is perfect for intermediate disc golfers. You'll have no trouble getting a full flight out of one of these, and impressive distance to boot!
Advanced: An absolute bomber. That's what the Mayhem will be for those with advanced levels of power. You shouldn't have trouble getting this disc out to 400ft+, or even 450ft+! You may want to put the Mayhem on a hyzer angle when giving it all you've got so that it doesn't flip right over!
