Streamline Turbulence Flight Review

The Streamline Turbulence delivers a dependable, stable fairway driver experience that stands out for its precision and control. It’s ideal for approach shots, fairway drives, and navigating tight lines where accuracy is key. With a comfortable, ergonomic rim and an anti-dome, it fits well in the hand and offers a clean, confident release.

In flight, the Turbulence holds a straight, stable line with minimal turn and finishes with a strong, predictable fade. It responds well to different release angles. While not built for maximum distance, it shines in technical shots, controlled drives, and approach situations requiring pinpoint accuracy.

Debuting with flight numbers of 7 | 2 | 0 | 3.5, this disc is the newest brainchild from MVP’s R&D department. What if you could take the reduced glide and comfort that the concave top of the Range provides, but transport that into a fairway driver? The result of that mad science is here in the Turbulence! Designed with a purposefully concave flight plate, the Turbulence feels amazing in the hand – resulting in extremely clean and torque-resistant releases for both forehand and backhand throws. The unique design also leads itself to less glide, increased nose angle forgiveness for spike hyzers, and a muted skip – resulting in an extremely comfortable fairway driver that excels in all aspects of controlled fairway driver shots.

Skill Level Recommendations

Beginner

New disc golfers should generally steer clear of the Turbulence. It's extremely overstable and has very little glide. Consider improving on your form on slower, more controllable discs before experimenting with overstable beefcakes like the Turbulence.

Intermediate

Intermediate players will be able to use the Turbulence as a utility disc more than a go-to fairway driver. You'll enjoy it for flex shots, hand rollers, and meat hooks. The low glide and the profile also make it perfect for skip shots, whether throwing backhand or forehand.

Advanced

Advanced players will appreciate the Turbulence for its dependable stability and precision. It excels in flex shots, skip shots, and forehand approach lines where accuracy and control are crucial. Its strong finish makes it a versatile disc for many shot types.
