Axiom Excite

The Axiom Excite is a 14.5-speed distance driver! Its -2 turn rating and 2 fading rating make it perfect for bombing down open fairways. With a massive turn and forward pushing fade back be prepared to break some distance records! 

The wide rim helps the Excite to cut through the air effortlessly and at speed! The only issue is that if you have smaller hands you might find the rim an uncomfortable fit.

To add to the disc's distance potential you also have an impressive amount of glide! Do be warned that this disc is prone to gusts of wind, and can turn over in a headwind. However, in a tailwind, this disc will excel!

If you find the Excite to be overstable it could simply be that you are not getting it up to speed. If this is the case you'll want to disc down a notch or two to develop your form and power.

For those with a lot of power, welcome to hyzer flip town. The amount of distance this disc will travel when thrown hard, on a big hyzer, high in the air is phenomenal!

The Excite is able to achieve long accurate distance with ease from its high amount of glide and ability to hyzer-flip straight with a lower power requirement. Power throwers will be able to send this max-speed driver on huge turnover lines with a late-ending fade or attack the course with high-speed rollers. The Excite’s flight characteristics emulate the Insanity but with added speed and even more glide potential.

If you throw with a lot of power you'll need to release these on a hyzer to prevent them from turning right over.

Skill recommendations

Beginner: When starting out in this exciting new sport players often want to throw drivers in order to throw further. The truth is that while you are still developing your form and arm power you'll get better results throwing putters and mids.

Intermediate: This is a great disc for intermediate players looking to get a full flight out of a driver for maximum distance! 

Advanced: The Axiom Excite is a bomber, even for advanced players. You'll just want to make sure you throw it with a chunk of hyzer, and up into the air. You might also find this useful for really long turnovers that barely come back.
