MVP Inertia Flight Review

The MVP Inertia is a dependable understable distance driver that’s easy to throw and fun to control. It’s especially useful for players who want a disc that turns smoothly without needing a huge amount of power. With its manageable speed and natural glide, the Inertia delivers long, effortless flights even with slower arm speeds.

You’ll notice the turn right out of the hand, it flips up from a hyzer and gently rides an anhyzer line before finishing with a soft, reliable fade. This makes it ideal for hyzer flips, long turnovers, and shaping lines through tight fairways. For right-handed backhand throwers, it’s great for right-finishing shots that need to glide forward rather than dump hard.

The Inertia shines on wooded fairways and open holes where precise placement is key. It's great for players developing shot-shaping skills and focusing on finesse over power. You can aim for controlled distance or explore creative lines without being punished for slight mistakes.

Advanced players might not use it as a max-distance driver, but they’ll appreciate it for rollers, touch shots, and utility lines where control matters more than speed. Its responsiveness and smooth release make it a valuable disc in any bag, especially when you need something that glides, turns, and finishes with just enough fade.

The Inertia is the grand debut of our 20mm-wing distance driver class. This class of controllable distance drivers will all have a wide weight range from 155g to 175g. This allows for an unmatched GYROℱ Push to give throwers increased control in their distance drives. The Inertia’s understable profile will allow high-power throwers to achieve consistent hyzerflips that will carry far and accurately. Its Neutral flight for low-power throwers will allow for reliably straight distance lines with accuracy.

Skill Level Recommendations

Beginner

The Inertia is understable and easy to control, but it may be a bit too fast for true beginners. It's better to start with a midrange or putter first. Once you're ready, the Inertia offers smooth hyzer flips and long, shaping shots.

Intermediate

Intermediate players can lean on it for smooth hyzer flips and long, shaping shots. It responds well without needing full power.

Advanced

Advanced players might find it too flippy for power drives. Instead, it shines in touch shots, rollers, and tricky turnover lines.
