Discraft Cigarra

The Discraft Cigarra is going to be Anthony Barela's new mold! It's a modified version of the Cicada producing a slightly more stable flight. The idea was to create a Buzzz-like fairway driver, and the results look promising!

Here's AB showing us his new disc compared to Cicada's.

The word cigarra is simply the Spanish translation of cicada. This brings in a little of AB's heritage, and also hints that the two discs are similar, but not identical.

Anthony Barela was one of the top contenders on the DGPT last year, and we're glad to hear that he just got his own entirely new mold!

Release Date: The Cigarra is now PDGA-approved, he expects it to be before the start of the season. If so we should see him using it in Florida at the end of February.
