Axiom Rhythm Understable Fairway Driver
The Axiom Rhythm is an understable 7-speed. It was released back in 2021, and has since been one of the more popular discs in the Axiom line!
The Rhythm is most suited to hyzer flips and buttery smooth turnovers! It's a dream come true if you're in the woods, or if you don't have a marvelous sidearm game!
One great thing about the Rhythm is that it is not too understable. This just means that you can rely on it to not turn and burn. It will generally always finish its flight with a touch of fade!
This disc has a very low profile, which gives it a very comfortable fit in the hand! This also makes it a reasonable choice for sidearm shots. In the video below you'll see Cheating Lefty demonstrating this.
Whatever kind of disc golfer you are, the Rhythm will probably find a home in your bag! It's workable understability is not to be resisted or refused!
Here's what MVP Disc Sports has to say about the Rhythm:
With a speed of 7, glide of 5, turn of -2, and a fade of 1, the Rhythm was designed to be either a great first driver or a line-shaping fairway driver for power arms. Lower power players will find the Rhythm to be laser straight with a slight fade at the end, making it a great line-hitting disc. Higher power players will love the Rhythm for carving up the woods with hyzer flips or natural turnovers from flat, even rollers aren’t out of the question for the Rhythm. Whether you’re looking for your first straight driver or an awesome line shaper, turn to the Rhythm to find your beat on the course.
In this video review of the Axiom Rhythm from Cheating Lefty is a great representation of this disc's flight characteristics!

Plastics
Neutron: The Axiom Rhythm will be accurate to flight numbers in Neutron. It also will generally be very flat-topped. This plastic is grippy and durable. You can read our Neutron review for more information.
Proton: Highly durable and translucent. Proton Rhythms may be a little more stable than Neutron. You can read our Proton Review to learn more.
Fission: This is MVP's microbubble plastic. With this technology you can get lighter discs, producing a less overstable flight. These will generally be the most understable Rhythms you can get. They also often have a noticeable dome to them. You can learn more about this amazing plastic in our Fission plastic review.

Skill recommendations
Beginner: If you've spent a little time working on your form and power levels with putters and mids, you're ready to move up a step. The Rhythm is a great choice as it is still a manageable speed, it's glidey, and it's understable!
Intermediate: This will be a versatile go-to in your bag if you're an intermediate-level player. You'll be able to use the Rhythm for dead straight hyzer flips and long turnovers!
Advanced: If you're an advanced player looking for a turnover disc the Axiom Rhythm is a great choice! It's not as understable as many other turnover fairway drivers, meaning that it won't just turn and burn when thrown hard!
