A step above our slower fairway drivers, the Diamondback is a Speed 9 that offers a neutral flight at high speeds and reliable fade for lower arm speeds. This will be that fairway driver that you reach for when you want plenty of distance, but with that extra control of a dead-straight flight when ripped down the fairway. The Diamondback promises to be that workhorse in the woods, and that consistent fairway placement discs on the open courses.

It's faster than the Alpha, with more turn than the Grackle. Some Mint Pro's are giving it high praise by calling it their longer Mustang. It's starting to sound like it might be Mint's best disc yet...

Flight Ratings: Speed 9, Glide 5, Turn -2, Fade 2

About the plastic: Apex is the equivalent of MVP's Neutron, as these are produced in the same factory. It is an Opaque blend of premium polymers that offer extremely good durability and hand feel. Largest selection of bright colors. These have a decent amount of flex to them, but are on the stiffer side of something like an Innova Star plastic. Typically this is a plastic that is “true to flight numbers”, but it still depends on run to run.

I’m not sure what to think of this disc seems more overstable then the numbers show on it but then if you put any amount of Anhyzer on it, it doesn’t want to come back so I’m not sure how I feel about it…
