Mesmerizingly straight, with flight numbers of 5/5/-1/1, the Hex will find a place in anyone’s bag as a versatile and reliably straight midrange. At the highest arm speeds, the Hex will produce slightly understable lines from flat, but the 1 fade keeps it from flipping over completely. For lower arm speeds, the Hex has enough turn to make shaping lines a breeze. If you are looking for control in the woods, or simply a versatile line shaper, the Hex is the midrange for you. Available in Proton plastic to start, add some magic to your game with the Hex!

This is commonly known as one of the best flick forehand mid-ranges in the game since it's launch, so really worth having in the bag!

Flight Ratings: Speed 5, Glide 5, Turn -1, Fade 1

About the plastic: Proton has a great feel in the hand, typically on the stiffer side and they are often semi-transparent in looks. They are one of the more stable plastics out of MVP besides Eclipse. These are extremely durable, and look really fantastic in vibrant colors.

Great Variant On An Amazing Midrange

I was very intrigued to try the Hex out in Proton plastic, and this one did not disappoint. Of all the Hexes I own (Neutron, Fission, Eclipse, Prism Plasma) the Proton easily has the flattest top.

For that reason, the Proton Hex feels especially great for forehands. I was expecting it to be more stable than some of my other Hexes, but I didn't notice much difference in fade compared to my Neutron, although it was less flippy than my Fission Hex.

Overall it's a gorgeous version of my favorite midrange, with great hand feel, especially for forehands. I really hope they eventually do a stock run in Proton.

Proton hex

I'm not much of a forehand player but for some reason this disc is one of the few I can get a nice flight with on a slight flick! Highly recommend

Awesome flyer

Compared to my neutron hex, this one is a great compliment. The mold is a slight overstable but not too much. It’s great for those wooded holes and overall It’s a great mid. Would highly recommend.
