MVP Open Proton Soft Envy – The best throwing putter on the market just got an upgrade. The Proton Soft plastic feels amazing in the hand and has tons of performance on the course. The plastic has a slightly gummy feel that players love. The Envy is a nice and overstable throwing putter that has enough stability to rip on but isn’t so overstable that you can’t get any distance out of it. This run comes with a Maple Hill Hole 14 stamp that helps support the 2023 MVP Open presented by OTB Discs. This is our first time sponsoring the MVP Maple Hill Open and we are super excited for the future. Make sure you grab a MVP Open Proton Soft Envy today.

The Envy has a smooth modern feel that fits in the hand perfectly, lending confidence for both putt and approach duties. The Envy exhibits reliable high-speed stability and a minimal fade. With a slightly lower profile and cruising speed than the Ion and Anode class, the Envy is a uniquely “lid-like” stable putter.

Flight Ratings: Speed 3, Glide 3, Turn -1, Fade 2

About the plastic: Proton Soft has a great feel in the hand, typically on the stiffer side and they are often semi-transparent in looks. They are one of the more stable plastics out of Axiom besides Eclipse. These are extremely durable, and look really fantastic in vibrant colors.

Proton Soft sooo good

I love the feeling of the proton soft plastic. I prefer the prism proton soft runs from the OTB Open earlier in the year, but these ones will do well with the colder weather. Sometimes the plastic is almost sticky with grip!
