Innova Evelliina Salonen 2x Champion Thunderbird - 2026
Two-time World Champ Eveliina Salonen uses her Thunderbirds often because they’re easy to control. Throw her USDGC Salonen Wings edition to get a better handle on your home course.
Eveliina Loves Her Thunderbirds: She’s been throwing Thunderbirds since she joined Innova in 2017 and currently has three in her bag. She pulls them out often, especially for tight lines in wooded courses. An older Merlot colored Thunderbird is her favorite disc in her bag.
The Thunderbird can be described as a seasoned Firebird with less fade. It is predictable in wind and a great long range placement driver. Pros will appreciate the shot shaping ability of this driver while less experienced players will find a consistent, predictable flight.
Flight Ratings: Speed: 9, Glide: 5, Turn: 0, Fade: 2
About the plastic: Champion is produced with hi-tech plastic that provides outstanding performance and durability. Champion discs are distinguished by a clear or pearlescent plastic that retains original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, Champion Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage.
