About the plastic: Proto Glow material comes in a variety of colors and each has a different maximum brightness value. Traditional green is the brightest, hence why it was chosen as the default. Glow Champion is made with the same high-tech durable plastic as the Champion Line with the added benefit of glowing in the dark.
