This is probably the biggest story of 2020/21 for disc manufacturers, as LØFT Discs launched the most successfully disc golf Kickstarter of all time.
Funding more than 4000% of their target (over $244,000 USD), their campaign is built around the launch their flagship putter, the Hydrogen.
Hydrogen is a putter for both putting and short range driving in disc golf. The design is optimized virtually through their cutting-edge flight path simulator to create the straightest small diameter putter possible within the PDGA, while still offering great grip comfort for both putting and driving.
The β-Solid is a plastic blend developed to combine grip and stiffness in what we find to be the perfect balance for putting. The feel is somewhere in between rubbery and chalky, and it gives you all the confidence you need to commit to a putt. This material is less durable than our α-Solid, which allows you to beat in the disc over time. The appearance is somewhat matt and comes in mostly dim colors.
This putter has been designed by the computer boffins out of Denmark, and based on our testing, they are 100% accurate. This putter flies like no other - dead straight!

About the plastic: Supernova is the swirly version of the standard plastic, with lots of beautiful flecks & swirl effects in this beautiful plastic. The α-Solid is our go-to premium plastic, and it is developed with throwing in mind. It is slightly gummy, has a shiny finish, superb grip and great durability, so you can trust that the disc will not change drastically in stability for the first many tree hits. The appearance is opaque, and the colors appear very vivid in this material.
