Axiom Insanity Neutral Fairway Driver
The Axiom Insanity is a neutral 9-speed. Its flight resembles that of a beaten-in Inertia. This is one of Axiom's most popular for several reasons.
The Insanity is a neutral wonder, that you can throw dead straight lines, hyzer flips, and turnovers with. Beginners and advanced players alike will enjoy this mold.
It also has a decent amount of fade, which means that it's not going to turn and burn on you in a flash!
While usually used for backhands, the Axiom Insanity is also a very popular forehand disc. Players with advanced sidearm power might find it to be too understable.
Here's what MVP Disc Sports has to say about the Insanity:
The Insanity is best described as a worn-in MVP Inertia, with a slightly more high-speed turn and a diminished fade. For average power throwers, the Insanity will be remarkably straight, while high power throwers can execute precise flip and turnover lines with ease. Whether you’re looking for that sweet-spot worn disc flight, or you’re looking to achieve bigger Inertia lines with less power, give Insanity a shot.

Plastics
Proton: Highly durable and translucent. Proton Insanitys may be a little more stable than Neutron. You can read our Proton Plastic Review to learn more.
Plasma: Generally speaking a Plasma Insanity will be more stable than both Proton and Neutron. This plastic is also durable, and has a beautiful metallic sheen to it! Read a full MVP Plasma Review here.
Neutron: Grippy and durable these Axiom Insanitys are the most accurate to flight numbers. You can read our Neutron plastic review for more information.
Eclipse 2.0: These glow Insanitys are notably more overstable than any of the others. You can expect them to fly more like a Thunderbird! Our Eclipse 2.0 Review is here.
Fission: This is MVP's microbubble plastic. With this technology you can get lighter discs, producing a less overstable flight. These will generally be the most understable Insanitys you can get. You can learn more about this amazing plastic in our Fission plastic review.

Skill recommendations
Beginner: If you are a true beginner you should rather be throwing something slower than this disc. If you're spent a couple of months doing this already then try out a lightweight Fission Insanity.
Intermediate: This will be a versatile go-to in your bag if you're an intermediate-level player. You'll be able to use this for straight shots, and small hyzer flips. You could also beat it in for turnovers.
Advanced: If you have a lot of power then you should have no trouble getting a full flight out of your Insanity! Release it flat for turnovers, and hyzer flip it for laser straight lines. If you want something with more overstability try out an Eclipse Insanity.
