The Discmania MD4 is Discmania's newest approved disc in April 2024, and is another great addition their midrange line, fitting right between the MD3 and MD5.

So if you are looking for the perfect compliment to your mid-range game, this is it. The MD4 brings an added notch of stability compared to MD3, meaning you can give it that extra boost when you need it most and count on it to finish to the ground reliably every time.

The MD4 has a blunt nose with the standard MD3 micro-bead, giving it a familiar feel in the hand. Not only is the MD4 overstable, but also has a surprising amount of glide, allowing your shots to fade more while still maintaining shot shaping abilities. Whether you're facing a stiff wind, looking for a controlled hyzer line, or throwing a nice touch sidearm, the MD4 has you covered. We find this disc to be much more versatile than most other overstable mid-ranges on the market due to the mix of stability and glide.

About the plastic: Discmania’s new C-Line is made from a beautiful Italian plastic blend and are some of the prettiest discs you can find. It is stiff, has great durability, and has an amazing feel in the hand. Discs in this plastic also have a very good glide. Metal Flake adds sparkling flakes into the plastic. The addition of Metal Flakes in the plastic not only gives it a shiny flare, but puts a little extra beef on the flight of the disc, making it slightly more over stable than the traditional C-Line version would. And definitely more than the stock S-Line run as well.

USPS Sucks

Love the disc, love the company.

I was unfortunately part of the USPS debacle. When my disc finally arrived, the box was ripped in half and missing everything but the disc. I’m not sure if USPS is just the cheapest, but maybe look into what regions have the best shipping. For Texas UPS is by far the best, FedEx being the worst, but I know it’s different per state.
