When this disc came out I heard “flies like a beat-in Destroyer,” and my noodle arm was intrigued. As per usual, DGDUSA had a variety of weights, so I was able to score a bright orange one at 162g.
I have both a Gstar and a Blizzard Champion Destroyer in lighter weights that I adore—I figured this one should be just a bit more stable than either, filling a needed spot in my bag.
Sometimes it does.
Other times, this disc does whatever it wants.
Imagine a beautiful flight out to 350’ with a gentle fade. Now imagine the disc carving its initials in your car door and demanding that you get a tattoo saying “RACER” to prove your love. It’d be fine if little things like angle or wind or skill level made a demonstrable difference in the Racer’s flight—too bad they don’t.
If you’ve never experienced a borderline abusive relationship, then try this disc.

The Trail is shedding strokes off my game! What a great disc! It is straighter than my Photons and is a great forehand disc. I can’t wait to have a flippy Trail & a stable Trail! I won’t be trailing on the score card for much longer! 😀
This disc grew on me. The first few times I threw it, it felt weird. Give it a chance and it will do what you want it to do. I wish it was in premium plastic tho.
