The Retooled Simon Line Time-Lapse is finally here! The original Time-Lapse didn't quite meet Lizotte's initial expectations, and ever since, a retooled version has been in the works at the MVP headquarters.
This is from MVP: As we mentioned previously, weāve been deep in the lab retooling our first 12-speed driver, the Time-Lapse. Weāve learned some incredibly valuable lessons over the course of the Time-Lapseās history (which you can read about in MVP Disc Sports Co-Founder Brad Richardsonās Lab Report), and weāve brought all of that experience to bear for the release of the new and improved retooled Neutron Time-Lapse!
While many players found our overstable original run to be a great wind fighter, Simon and MVP had dreams of the Time-Lapse being a staple in everyone's bag as a workhorse max distance driver. Having made microscopic alterations to several aspects of the Time-Lapse, it now meets Simon and MVP's desired flight. As a result, weāve updated the flight numbers to more accurately represent it, landing at 12 | 5 | -1 | 2. High-power players will enjoy the glide and flight-extending turn of the retooled Time-Lapse, while lower power players will find it to be a very usable go-to distance driver. We canāt wait for you all to be able to get your hands on this disc and see what our experience has produced.Ā
PDGA-approved, and showcased in one of Simon's latest videos, and the initial reveals show a much more understable flight than the first version, which was much more overstable than planned. The Retooled Time-Lapse will be more comparable to a Destroyer, blending control and distance for intermediate and advanced disc golfers.

About the plastic:Ā Neutron is an Opaque blend of premium polymers that offer extremely good durability and hand feel. Largest selection of bright colors. These have a decent amount of flex to them, but are on the stiffer side of something like an Innova Star plastic. Typically this is a plastic that is ātrue to flight numbersā, but it still depends on run to run.
