The Squirrel King sits upon a throne he has fashioned out of roots and branches, holding a staff topped with a mounted acorn. The runes tattooed on his arms and face are how he channels his magic, and the staff allows him to direct it. Ooze drifts upward from the staff, mushrooms, and plant lifeâslowly coming to life, as the King animates and summons the forest around him.
The Retooled Simon Line Time-Lapse is finally here! The original Time-Lapse didn't quite meet Lizotte's initial expectations, and ever since, a retooled version has been in the works at the MVP headquarters.
This is from MVP: As we mentioned previously, weâve been deep in the lab retooling our first 12-speed driver, the Time-Lapse. Weâve learned some incredibly valuable lessons over the course of the Time-Lapseâs history (which you can read about in MVP Disc Sports Co-Founder Brad Richardsonâs Lab Report), and weâve brought all of that experience to bear for the release of the new and improved retooled Neutron Time-Lapse!
While many players found our overstable original run to be a great wind fighter, Simon and MVP had dreams of the Time-Lapse being a staple in everyone's bag as a workhorse max distance driver. Having made microscopic alterations to several aspects of the Time-Lapse, it now meets Simon and MVP's desired flight. As a result, weâve updated the flight numbers to more accurately represent it, landing at 12 | 5 | -1 | 2. High-power players will enjoy the glide and flight-extending turn of the retooled Time-Lapse, while lower power players will find it to be a very usable go-to distance driver. We canât wait for you all to be able to get your hands on this disc and see what our experience has produced.Â
PDGA-approved, and showcased in one of Simon's latest videos, and the initial reveals show a much more understable flight than the first version, which was much more overstable than planned. The Retooled Time-Lapse will be more comparable to a Destroyer, blending control and distance for intermediate and advanced disc golfers.

About the plastic:Â Neutron is an Opaque blend of premium polymers that offer extremely good durability and hand feel. Largest selection of bright colors. These have a decent amount of flex to them, but are on the stiffer side of something like an Innova Star plastic. Typically this is a plastic that is âtrue to flight numbersâ, but it still depends on run to run.
