The Phenom strikes for a second time with Niklas Anttila’s second version of his famous PD, the Nordic Phenom 2. We’ve adjusted the flight of the disc just a bit to give it a slightly straighter flight path with the slightly more domey profile and excellent glide PD lovers enjoy most. We’ve thoughtfully executed another nod to Niklas’ Finnish roots with another rendition of his famous fateful Lynx design.
The best all-around driver for advanced and Pro-level player
The PD is a power driver, designed to offer control and a reliable flight path in all conditions. It’s possibly the best all-around driver for more advanced players. Newer players will also find use for the PD as a trusty overstable disc for headwind throws and flex shots. The PD is a fantastic choice for both backhand and forehand throws when extra accuracy is called for!

I was excited about the extra glide on this thing, but I’m also an intermediate player with a home course surrounded by water, so I’ve thrown 3 into the river. This fourth one has lasted a bit and was a workhorse on an open and tricky course recently. I threw it on every shot I needed to trust into the wind and it worked! Now I just need to budget one into each one of the next 10 paychecks to get some backups
Thus PD is very workable. Great for forehands
The Nordic Phenom 1 was a great disc for me over the winter on those cold windy days. The Phenom 2 is too much disc for me. I have to throw it on some pretty aggressive anhyzer lines to push it out to 300 ft. So far I prefer the S-line plastic over the horizon plastic. I find the horizon plastic to be quite slippery especially when new. I think I'll keep the NP1 for those windy days and disc down to the FD1 for the calm days.
