About the plastic: Lucid is a perfect combination of polymers to produce some of the most beautiful and durable discs in disc golf. Discs in this plastic are translucent, fairly soft & gummy and are extremely durable so they can take a good beating and maintain their original flight path. Metal Flake has little metal flakes within the plastic. It may change the flight characteristics depending on the mold, but the durability and feel are exactly the same. The metal flakes make plastic colors pop, but still allows the plastic to be transparent.
