Rasmus Saukkoriipi, or "Otter" as he's affectionately known, is a rising disc golf powerhouse out of Finland. He crushes backhands and forehands with remarkable distance, and his touch around the green is seriously impressive. Rasmus has pinpoint accuracy with his forehand upshots, which he credits for saving countless strokes throughout his young career. Unsurprisingly, Rasmus chose the Proto Glow Champion Toro for his 2025 Tour Series offering.

How this batch feels: A beadless and small diameter disc, the Toro, has the low profile and comfortable feel of a Rat. However, the Rim of the Toro is much beefier, as if it’s been hitting the gym.
We haven’t had a disc with a High Speed Turn of +1 since the Viper was on the shelf.

About the plastic: Proto Glow material comes in a variety of colors and each has a different maximum brightness value. Traditional green is the brightest, hence why it was chosen as the default.
