The Volt is a slightly overstable fairway driver. The Volt is geared for long, accurate placement shots. The Volt can hold a long straight line and with a solid, forward penetrating fade. Reach for the Volt when accuracy is needed on long, tight fairways. One of James Conrad's favorites!

Flight Ratings: Speed 8, Glide 5, Turn -1, Fade 2

About the plastic: Fission is the same as Neutron with added Microbubble technology to make them lightweight. Neutron is an Opaque blend of premium polymers that offer extremely good durability and hand feel. Largest selection of bright colors. These have a decent amount of flex to them, but are on the stiffer side of something like an Innova Star plastic. Typically this is a plastic that is “true to flight numbers”, but it still depends on run to run.

Great disc

Love this disc. I replaced one that landed in the lake with this one.

not too over stable for me

I got this volt in fission after trying it in cosmic neutron and feeling like that one was too stable for me. The fission is the perfect stability for me. I get a slight "s" shape flight out of the disc, and it is very reliable. I can get this disc out to about 380ft. I do not like this for forehands, but a go to for reliable driver.

Great addition to the bag

I purchased a 166g fission volt and it is fitting in my bag quite nicely. Out of the box it's got a decent amount of late-flight fade (similar to my neutron volt), but I imagine in time it'll straighten out like my other fission MVP discs inevitably did. Powered up this disc will turn gently before reliably fading which should treat me well in the woods. Very pleased with it so far.
