Best MVP, Axiom, Streamline Discs Throwing Putters

Are you a huge fan of MVP/Axiom/Streamline discs? Here's our Gyronauts guide to the best throwing putters from your favorite disc golf manufacturer, MVP Disc Sports!

Immediately some popular discs jump into mind. The Axiom Envy was responsible for the greatest shot in disc golf. Our list will cover your favorites and dig into some lesser-known molds for a pleasant surprise!

Best MVP Throwing Putters

MVP's lineup of putters is astounding. There are almost too many great putters to choose from! If you felt that way you can use this list to guide you to the exact throwing putter you're looking for!

MVP Glitch

Flight Ratings 1 | 7 | 0 | 0

[product=mvp-neutron-soft-glitch]

[/product]

No surprise here as you probably have already heard the Glitch's amazing flight! Yes, this is THE straightest disc in disc golf! On top of this, the 7 glide is no joke!

While it may not be the most reliable disc on this list it certainly is the most versatile! You can throw almost any line with the Glitch, including tunnel shots!

MVP Nomad

Flight Ratings - 2 | 4 | 0 | 1

[product=mvp-james-conrad-eclipse-r2-neutron-nomad]

[/product]

James Conrad uses this disc to great effect inside the circles, but you may never have tried it out on a full throw. It's a great driving putter that can hold a decent amount of power!

You can throw turnovers, hyzer flips, and more with the Nomad. You could consider it to be a beaten-in Envy.

MVP Entropy

Flight Ratings - 4 | 3 | 0 | 3

[product=mvp-neutron-entropy]

[/product]

The MVP Entropy is the most overstable putt and approach disc from MVP Disc Sports. While most will be using this a Zone-like forehand approach disc, others like James Conrad have found its worth for backhand drives!

James Conrad mastered the island green at worlds with his Entropy, essentially winning him the tournament!

As a forehand approach disc, the Entropy is perfect! It has stability, a flat top, and wind resistance to keep your approaches on target! Many Gyronauts strongly advocate its advantage over the Zone!

MVP Watt

Flight Ratings - 2 | 5 | -0.5 | 0.5

[product=mvp-neutron-watt]

[/product]

What did you say? That's not Watt I said! The MVP Watt was the Glitch before the Glitch existed! Players loved its dead straight flight. Its neutral flight path makes it extremely versatile, and you can throw just about any shot shape with the Watt.

Best Axiom Throwing Putters

It's fair to say that Axiom has a better lineup of putters than MVP when you're looking for a disc you can use off the tee. If you're a Gyronaut it's likely you already have some of these in your bag! If you don't now's the time to get them in!

Axiom Envy

Flight Ratings Premium Plastic - 3 | 3 | 0 | 2

Flight Ratings Base Plastic - 3 | 3 | -1 | 2

[product=axiom-eagle-mcmahon-team-series-prism-proton-envy-drop-10]

[/product]

[product=axiom-james-conrad-signature-electron-envy]

[/product]

The Axiom Envy is undoubtedly in the top 3 best throwing putters in the world! It has the exact amount of stability you need to put your full arm into the shot without turning it over! It also does not fade out early as an Entropy might do!

If you're looking for a putter that you can put some juice into, but still trust, you need an Envy! It's a reliable approach disc out in the open, but it can hold a variety of lines. Envys are great for high turnover lines. Just use some anhyzer!

On top of all of this, the Envy is also very comfortable with a backhand grip!

Axiom Pitch

Flight Ratings 1 | 7 | -0.5 | 0

[product=axiom-se-total-eclipse-pitch]

[/product]

The Axiom Pitch is a tweaked version of the Glitch bringing some variety to MVP's Gyronauts. It's ever so slightly more understable making a great choice for backhand drives that need a slight left to right flight! Don't be mistaken this disc is also really straight! And again, they didn't choose the glide rating on April 1st!

The only con some might find with the Pitch and the Glitch is the depth of the rim. Some may find they struggle to get a clean release with deep-dish putters off the tee.

Axiom Proxy

Flight Ratings - 3 | 3.5 | -1 | 0.5

[product=axiom-electron-proxy]

[/product]

The Axiom Proxy features the same inner core as the Envy. It has the same great low-profile feel but with a straighter flight path. If you're a beginner the Proxy is your step ladder to the Envy.

Advanced players will love the shot-shaping capabilities of this disc! Before you go out to the woods today, you better bring your Proxy!

Best Streamline Discs Throwing Putters

The Streamline putter range only includes two discs and both of them are great driving putters! Streamline discs do not feature the Gyro overmold, so these discs don't quite have the technology of the previous mentions.

Streamline Discs Pilot

Flight Ratings - 2 | 5 | -1 | 1

[product=streamline-cosmic-electron-pilot]

[/product]

Ready to let go of the wheel and let the disc do the work? The Pilot is a glidey, shot-shaping disc that'll serve you in your times of need! It has a flat top and a comfortably rounded rim. Yes, this disc does fly straight!

Streamline Discs Stabilizer

Flight Ratings - 3 | 3 | 0 | 2.5

[product=streamline-electron-stabilizer]

[/product]

The Stabilizer is an interesting disc that you won't find in many other manufacturer's lineups! It's a deep putter with a beefy flight. The depth is much like the Pilot.

While maybe not ideal for forehands due to the depth, this a great backhand driving putter that can handle the power you want to put on it!
