What Does Simon Lizotte Putt With?

Simon Lizotte is known for his ability to make “highlight putts” in big tournament moments and on his YouTube channel. His incredible touch from a distance and in crazy spots make him one of the most exciting putters on the disc golf pro tour. So what putters does Simon Lizotte Use? Last year, MVP released the Axiom Pixel, a deep rimmed, floaty and straight putter under the Simon-Line namesake. Read our Pixel overview, here.

Simon Lizotte’s Approach Putters

Armed with a flashy style and long-range accuracy on the green, Simon is also known to wow the crown with his approach game. What approach putters does Simon Lizotte use? One of Simon’s most used discs on tour is the Neutron Soft Proxy, an incredibly workable putter with a point-and-shoot flight path. Since day one, Simon said it was “love at first sight” with the Neutron Soft Proxy.

Next in the Putter slot is a Neutron Watt. The Neutron Watt is a more neutral version of the Proxy with a touch more glide. The Watt is a 2/5/-.5/.5 putter that Simon has said is one of the most neutral discs ever. Alongside the Watt, Simon throws an MVP Spin in Neutron plastic. The Spin has extreme glide and a high level of understability, making it a wonderful disc for floaty touch shots and turnovers.

Does Simon Throw Overstable Putters?

While Simon is heavily associated with the Proxy or the Glitch, yes he has recently added some overstable putters to his bag. Simon has had some use with the MVP Neutron Entropy, a highly overstable, low-glide putt & approach disc. He also recently put in a Prism Proton Rebirth Envy into his bag, which for those without Envy experience, it is a stable but highly controllable putter.

The MVP Glitch

Of course, we had to make mention of the MVP Glitch. While it doesn’t make regular appearances on the pro tour, Simon has been seen using the Glitch for long-distance putts, scramble putts, shots, and when the occasion for some fun arises. The Glitch is a catch & approach hybrid disc from MVP that offers mega glide and easy control. If you don’t already have one, what are you waiting for? Buy a Glitch, here!
