The Simon Line is a line of discs designed and manufactured by MVP in partnership with the fan favorite disc golfer, Simon Lizotte. One of the main reasons Simon chose to leave Discmania to join MVP was that they offered him the opportunity to create his own line of discs. The design of each disc is made to perfectly fit Simon’s ideal feel and flight. The name derives from the famous saying “Simon Line” which was developed from Simon’s common decision to throw the craziest shot possible that other players wouldn’t even consider.

Simon Line Theme

Simon chose the “Camera theme” as the theme for his own line of discs. The reason he gives for choosing this theme is that; “Cameras have been a huge part of my career and my life for at least 10-15 years now. Cameras are the main reason I’m here right now, the main reason I’m popular, the main reason disc golf is growing.” 

Simon Line Discs

So far there are only two discs in the Simon Line, the Time-Lapse and the Pixel.

Time-Lapse 12 | 5 | -1 | 3

The first disc from the Simon Line is the Time-Lapse, which is also the first ever 12-speed driver from MVP/Axiom/Streamline. The Time-Lapse is an absolute bomber of a distance driver that has a very slight turn and strong fade. It has enough glide to generate some massive flights, but the right amount of fade to stay predictable and controllable. 

The Time-Lapse driver has a prominent dome that gives it a good feel for backhand drives and adds some glide at the same time. High-power players will find the Time-Lapse to be a controllable max-distance driver, allowing you to create Simon Lines of your own. Low-power players will love it for controlled drives and an excellent wind fighter.

Pixel 

The second disc in the Simon Line is officially here, the Electron Pixel! Debuting with flight numbers of 2 | 4 | 0 | 0.5, the Pixel has a deep profile with a small micro bead, perfect for the smoothest possible release. Simon designed the Pixel to be an effortless putter, needing just a little bit of spin to glide right to the basket. Whether you’re a spin or push putter, the Pixel is an ideal putter for someone who wants a laser-straight flight.

The Pixel isn’t just excellent for putting, it’s also a very neutral flying discs off the tee or for approaches. Whether you’re putting, driving, or approaching, all you need is to pick your target and let the Pixel do the rest.

The release of the Pixel is also the debut of a new blend of Electron Plastic. With an increase in grip and tackiness across the board, and a much softer blend of Soft, the Pixel is truly a culmination of MVP’s and Simon’s years of experience.
