The Time-Lapse is the perfect blend of turn, glide, and overstability. It has a comfortable feel in the hand. It's a great choice for sidearm and backhand throwers.
The Time-Lapse was the first disc to be released in the new Simon Line from MVP! A lot of this disc's popularity can be attributed to Lizotte's epic throwing!
If you're a player with a decent amount of arm power, looking for a super accurate and reliable distance driver that will go far, the Time-Lapse is your disc!
This video review from MVP is a great exhibition of the disc's excellent flight characteristics.
High-power players will find the Time-Lapse to be a controllable max-distance crusher ā allowing you to create Simon Lines of your own ā while low-power players will love the Time-Lapse as a controlled distance driver and potentially a wind fighter as well.
Axiom Time-Lapse Flight Numbers

MVP pretty much nailed their flight numbers on this one! The disc has a fast and glidey flight, with a touch of turn, and then a strong fade back! You can read our full Simon Lizotte Time-Lapse Review here.
Skill Level Recommendations
Beginner
The Time-Lapse is not a great choice for beginner players. You need to practice on slower discs like putters and mids, and perfect your form before throwing distance drivers! This disc is too fast and too overstable.
Intermediate
If you're looking for an overstable driver that you can use for meathooks and headwinds then try an Axiom Time-Lapse! Its touch of understability makes it more than manageable. If you're looking for distance get a lighter Fission Timelapse.
Advanced
You're going to want to try one of these bad boys out asap if you're an advanced player! With decent arm power, you're going to get considerable turn out of this driver and as a result massive distance!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Axiom Time-Lapse a good disc for backhands?
+
The Axiom Time-Lapse is Simon Lizotte's go-to driver for massive distance! It's a great disc for backhand shots for players who have some power.
Is the Axiom Time-Lapse a good disc for forehands?
+
Yep, you guessed it. The Time-Lapse is also great for sidearms! With stability and speed, it can handle the off-axis torque forehand shots create. The only downside is that they're somewhat domey. This might put some people off using it for sidearm shots.
Does the Axiom Time-Lapse handle the wind well?
+
The speed and stability of the Time-Lapse make it a very reliable option in the wind. It does have a decent amount of glide though, which can make a disc more susceptible to wind.
